This year we managed we have had a pretty good crop of various types of fruit and vegetables from our growing area.

We managed to make a soup entirely out of ingredients which were grown in the garden.

The soup consisted of:

  • beetroot
  • potatoes
  • kale
  • onions
  • turnips
  • various ‘green salady’ leaves
  • herbs (thyme, rosemary, mint, chives, basil)

It was actually very good to eat although we ended up adding a bit of salt and chilli sauce to make it a bit more tasty.
